Pin Hole Photographer
Adam Fuss
Adam Fuss was born in London he grew up in a quiet place in England, where he first began to photograph the environment. This led to an experiment using uncommon photographic processes and then resulted in him never wanting to use a camera again. Fuss’s most distinctive work is his contemporary photographs made particularly by cameraless methods. Fuss believes "that in order for any photographic technique to work, it should be personalised and transfigured into a greater metaphor, engaging processes that take place in the natural world.''[1]
This is one of Fuss's most well known photos where he would place babies in shallow baths of water and drop water on them. This picture is 101.6 x 76.2 centimeters.
What does it look like?
This image could be seen as a foetus in the whom, and the water could represent innocence and purity.
in a more macabre outlook the dark colours be representing death and how death knows no age.
How does it make u feel?
Along the path of innocence it could make viewers feel melancholy about their youth and dream about being young once again. However it could make people fear death and make then feel solum.
